The former host of "The Ed Sheeran Show", has now spoken out on the matter while also making no secret of his disdain for the way the food industry has operated. He told ABC News: "It's not just the food people are getting that they get from big food producers. This whole system is going on. The whole system is running from Big Food all the time, and the big businesses and the government are the ones actually exploiting workers. Meredith McRae, director at Business Insider, said he wasn't referring to the fact that McDonald's is in financial trouble, or the fact that there are already no jobs at the restaurant, or that McDonald's is shutting down because of what they have done.

McRae said he was shocked the company refused a request to open a new joint restaurant so quickly because of the price point.
