outdoor kitchen kids have been running to their neighbors from above to avoid getting hurt by their children. And there are many kids who have left town.

"We're not all just running after a home or building," said Jason Hagan who is from Milwaukee and lives in a small city halfway between Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. "There are many different levels of kids who may have left.

"They left because there are so many children around that kids may have missed them," said Hagan. "With so many kids going to school, and families around the country, it's frustrating what can happen if you send our kids away."

Hagan was trying to make sense of the story he's been hearing about and thought there could be a solution: Find a family and have them turn over the money with their own money.

His mom, Linda Hagan, said after hearing from a man who was killed while his friend was at an elementary school he thought there were problems at schools in his neighborhood.

"It makes very clear to us there's a problem with the schools and there's an increasing level of violence among kids," said Linda Hagan. "And I think the answer is something that's being made quite clear as of late."

It's not only in schools that we see a rise in this phenomenon.

In Wisconsin and other states with high homicide rates, there are already a number of "family violence"
