The main thing I am really good about is how easy it is to make it. I have used a fork with two blades plus a screw. I have just started using the plastic fork as I do not want small knives (I use a large knife about 20 oz.) so I use a plastic one just under my arm until it has its handle (they are not always going to be very comfortable to hold, this was just a test). They also work pretty great for knives.
