The next year did help my motivation as well, since I got to meet real friends, especially people I never heard of before. And yes, I'm really proud of my achievements. My life got easier in the last six years, after moving here, because I was getting older. (laughs)

TOM: Your story is very different. You've been around for less than a year. Was the relationship you had with your parents all this sudden?

COOPER: A little bit. Well, I moved into the house this past summer because my mom had died. Since then, she just moved from Texas to California. Her brother worked in the auto stuff, so he was my roommate the whole time and I was also my friend with my parents. I had fun, but after a couple, it was harder. Eventually I moved back home, but that wasn't to worry about that.

TOM: But your dad died a couple years ago, and while your mom's brother worked at Ford, this was your second child. So you worked in the auto business, and your dad was there when you first met your dad...

COOPER: Yeah, my roommate in the car was his nephew. He's in the United States. He was part of the Ford fleet, so he had some car accidents. And he ended up going into the auto
