The House at the Bottom

Citizens of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are tasked with building two different Houses, namely the Bottom. The Bottom houses were created in 1962 to house a large group of visitors to the NOAA and NOAA Atlantic Marine Fisheries Office.

In 1962, all four houses were built on federal land. They are all under construction and are being protected by federally owned, federally owned fishing pens in North Atlantic waters. The original structure was built in 1962 to be a part of the NOAA's Atlantic Fishing Pool. The main piece of the building, the Bottom, is now located on federal land on the other side of the ocean. The bottom of the houses was a long rowboat that could move under the waves to provide additional storage space.

The first 4 houses in the three main categories are:

Citizens - The people housed at the Bottom were expected to play a significant role in its construction, making it an ideal place to live. People living here were encouraged to volunteer to fill in various forms to provide services while enjoying the local marine environment.

In addition to being a popular location, the Bottom accommodated people who wanted to live in an intimate and relaxed environment. It is thought that at least 1,834 people lived here during the 1960s.
