One of the best things about being a bartender is sharing your thoughts and reactions to life with your customers. At this event, I met with our bartender (who is on the other side of the Atlantic) about the cocktails we were all mulled over. I could not agree more. The drinks were well-made and were a fun experience (thank you for the complimentary drinks), the cocktails were simple and refreshing.

I personally was impressed with the selection of beers in the evening and that we had great conversations with the bartender – his enthusiasm with the cocktails came out of his desire to help us feel happy, confident and ready to be friends. He also knew that most of the cocktail selections were created from the tips of our own experience at the event. We also discussed the concept of mixing cocktails: what makes a new cocktail different? How it differs from some of my other favorite cocktails!

If you want to read about what we really love, I did a little research into our experiences! For one, one of our last drinks was brewed off-site by a local brewery. We thought about brewing our own tap beer because we couldn't be bothered with the logistics of keeping the beer outside for a month or so. The fact is, for the first two months, we only brewed our own. We have done that on
