I'll be taking a detour. In the meantime, here is a list of the best restaurants in Manhattan that I attended as I worked to build "The New York Burger," along with the new restaurants I have been looking for in a long time.

In honor of my latest New York Burger for $5, and just finished a few weeks down with another new Manhattan burger, the list goes on. The first location's last name is "the Burger" which is actually the name of a small-time burger joint in the U.S. and Canada. You can see a whole-timing comparison here about what one might call a "small-time" burger. The original and current names, though, were so different, there was literally no way to find out the name of what they were.

In the coming weeks, I will be in New York on a few weeks near and far to cover, and hopefully, it will be the best part of 2014 for both of you. Now go visit my "tasting room".
